Work operations and risks

When you work at Huisman, you come into contact with all kinds of machines, installations and tools. There are also high-voltage locations and work is done at heights and with hazardous substances. This entails certain risks. Therefore, in this section we will tell you more about the regulations and procedures that apply. Everyone must follow these. This is how we ensure that everyone always works in a safe and healthy manner, and we limit the risks to a minimum.

1. Motorised vehicles

If you want to use motorised vehicles on the premises, rules and regulations apply. We will tell you what to look out for and how to use the vehicles safely.

2. High-voltage locations

There are high-voltage locations on the premises. You therefore cannot drive around everywhere with a vehicle. We will explain where the high-voltage locations are and where you may and may not drive.

3. Lifting operations

You cannot simply enter a confined space. You will learn about the steps you have to take to enter confined spaces.

Every product that Huisman makes will enter a test phase at some point. This phase may entail risks. We will explain how you can minimize these risks.
